Brown closely examines what it means to be a strong woman in today’s society. The interactions between characters are oftentimes funny but always honest and real. Even when the women make bad choices, they are very sympathetic. Brown takes readers on an emotional roller coaster ride so thrilling that you may not want to get off until you finish the book in one sitting. You’ll have to wait with bated breath to see if there will be a third book in this series.
