If you enjoyed reading Tracy Brown’s Snapped, get ready for the exciting sequel. Aftermath picks up right where things left off. It shouldn’t be a surprise that everything and everyone has been turned upside down. Will a murder charge, pregnancy, the return of a father and loss of a child be too much to overcome? Can Misa, Camille, Toya and Dominique survive these trying times? These passionate African American women will have to rely on friendship, redemption, love and forgiveness. The drama is hotter than ever. Old and new relationships are tested.

Brown closely examines what it means to be a strong woman in today’s society. The interactions between characters are oftentimes funny but always honest and real. Even when the women make bad choices, they are very sympathetic. Brown takes readers on an emotional roller coaster ride so thrilling that you may not want to get off until you finish the book in one sitting. You’ll have to wait with bated breath to see if there will be a third book in this series.
