Although this book is a political thriller, I did not find it to be bogged down with a lot of legal and political aspects that take away from the story. I liked how Lis Wiehl weaved fiction and truth to create a book that will leave you thinking. I found myself intrigued by the process and details presented in the investigation. Portland readers will be able to recognize key landmarks such as Forest Park and the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse. If you want a book that will keep you guessing until the end, Face of Betrayal is the book for you.
